Introduction

Lime pie is one of my favorite desserts. It’s easy to make, and it tastes great when served warm with vanilla ice cream. You can also use lime juice instead of condensed milk if you’d like.

Lime Pie

  • 1 Crust Pie
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 cup lime juice

1 prepared graham cracker crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the flour and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar and butter until smooth; then add the eggs one at a time to make sure they are well incorporated into the batter before adding more. Add sour cream if you want it richer or milk if you prefer your pie less sweet. Pour half of this mixture into dry ingredients and mix them together with a spoon or spatula until just combined; don’t overmix! Press or pat down into pan that’s lined with parchment paper on bottom & sides (this makes removal much easier later on). Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees then remove from oven and let cool completely before filling with lime custard!

  • Use a stand mixer. Whisk until soft peaks form.

14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

Sweetened condensed milk is a staple in most kitchens and can be found at almost any grocery store. This type of milk has been sweetened with sugar, which gives it its characteristic light color and sweetness. It’s often used as the base for desserts like pies, cakes and other baked goods. In this recipe we’ll make lime pie using sweetened condensed milk as its main ingredient!

1/4 cup lime juice

  • Measure out the lime juice with a measuring cup and transfer it to your blender. If you don’t have a juicer, use a citrus squeezer instead—just make sure that it’s not too small or too large for your blender (or else you’ll end up wasting the whole thing).
  • Add all of the other ingredients together in one bowl and mix until they’re well incorporated!

It’s easy to make.

It’s easy to make. You can use a premade crust or make your own, you can use bottled lime juice or fresh lime juice, and you can also add some dried lime zest for extra flavor.

You don’t have to be afraid of making pie crusts because they are really easy! In fact, if you follow these instructions it will only take about 20 minutes from start to finish!

Conclusion

We hope you enjoyed our recipe for lime pie!
