Introduction

Chicken Stir Fry is an easy and delicious dish that can be made with just a few ingredients. It’s also one of my favorite ways to use up leftover chicken!

Chicken Stir Fry

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

1 tablespoon cooking oil

You’re going to want a big, heavy pan. A wok or frying pan is best. Don’t use olive oil! The heat of the oil will cause it to break down and become rancid, so be sure to use something with a high smoke point like vegetable or canola oil.

2 Chicken breast, sliced into bite-sized pieces

Chicken breast is a healthy protein source, low in fat and calories, high in protein and iron. It also contains vitamins A, B12 and D as well as selenium. These nutrients are important for bone health as well as maintaining your immune system.

1 ½ cups broccoli florets

Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable, which means it’s related to cauliflower and brussels sprouts. Cruciferous vegetables are high in vitamins A, C and K; they’re also high in calcium and iron. Broccoli has anti-cancer properties due to its phenolic content—and it’s all these things that make broccoli so healthy!

This stir fry recipe is great for anyone who loves broccoli or even just trying out new veggies!

1 carrot, cut into coins

1 carrot, cut into coins

You can use a mandolin or knife to get even slices, but if you don’t have either of those items in your kitchen then the easiest way to go is to just use your hands. The result will be slightly larger coins than those made by using an actual mandolin or knife—but they’ll still look great! You could also try using a vegetable peeler instead; this method requires more effort but gives you cleaner results and less waste by avoiding cutting through the skin of each coin individually (which would result in some pretty ugly brown spots).

1 bell pepper, diced

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, and cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan, then add the rest of your ingredients in order: garlic (minced), ginger (minced), soy sauce (1 TBS), brown sugar (2 tsp), sesame seeds & chili flakes(1 tsp each). Cook until everything is heated through!

2 cloves garlic, minced

When you’re cooking, it’s important to have a strong flavor in your dish. Garlic is one of the best ways to do this—it adds great depth and complexity while also providing vitamins and minerals that are essential for health.

So if you want more than just garlic on your plate (or in your body), try adding some minced garlic when making chicken stir fry!

¼ cup low sodium soy sauce

Soy sauce is a fermented liquid made from soybeans, salt and water. It’s used as a seasoning to add flavor to dishes such as Asian food and stir-fries. Soy sauce has been consumed in China for thousands of years, but it wasn’t until the early 19th century that Westerners discovered its popularity among their counterparts overseas.

Soy sauce is an amazing ingredient because it can be used to make so many different things! Whether you’re making your own homemade chicken noodle soup or just want some extra flavor in your stir fry, this recipe will work wonders for both—and if you don’t have any on hand right now then there are plenty more recipes where this one came from!

1 tablespoon honey

Honey is a natural sweetener and it’s made by bees.

Honey has been used for thousands of years as food, medicine and beauty products. It’s also found in many types of foods including breads, cakes and pastries.

3 tablespoons cornstarch + ½ cup water (optional)

Cornstarch is a thickening agent that can be found in many recipes, including stir-fries. It’s made from corn and has no flavor of its own. If you want to replace flour with this ingredient, just add it at the beginning of cooking your dish before adding any liquids or liquids that might make your sauce too runny or thick.

  • Place 2 tablespoons cornstarch and ½ cup water in a small bowl; mix together until smooth. Set aside until needed (you can use as little as 1 tablespoon if you prefer).

Chicken Stir Fry is made with thinly sliced chicken breast and a variety of vegetables.

Stir Fry is a dish that’s easy to make, but it can be tricky if you don’t use the right ingredients. To keep your stir-fry from turning out dry and flavorless, follow these tips:

  • Use a nonstick skillet or wok instead of metal for best results. If you have one, go for it!
  • Add the vegetables first—this will give them time to become tender as they cook in their own juices as well as with yours.
  • Cook until tender but not mushy (about 5 minutes), then add chicken pieces and cook another 2 minutes or so before adding any sauce at all!

Conclusion

Stir Fry is a delicious way to add vegetables into your diet. It’s easy to make and can be done on the stovetop or in the oven. If you’re looking for more ideas, check out our other posts here on how to cook with chicken breast!
